Journalist and Award-Winning Author of Dreamland: The True Tale of America’s Opiate Epidemic

Winner of the 2015 National Book Critics Circle Award for Nonfiction, journalist Sam Quinones’ critically-acclaimed Dreamland broke the news on America’s widespread opiate crisis, spotlighting the issue on a national stage. Working closely with the author, pH Collective managed Mr. Quinones’ brand through events marketing, multiple social media platforms, and original content creation. Partnering with numerous organizations, government entities, and individuals across the country, we also launched a storytelling project called “What’s Your Story” to help end the stigma of addiction.

A national storytelling project encouraging the public to share their experiences in the opioid crisis. Launched in 2018, #WhatsYourStory has collected hundreds of stories from doctors about treating patients in America to officers confronting drug trafficking. From jailers and employers to judges, paramedics, pharmacists, public health workers, and pastors dealing with addiction in a congregation — this crisis affects us all, but through stories, the stigma of addiction will fade.
